Heat Pumps

A heat pump is a great way to help the environment and provide a more cost effective heating solution for your home.  A heatpump is an electrical device that extracts energy (or heat) from the ground or the air – and converts in into hot water for domestic heating purposes.  It typically replaces an oil or gas boiler in a building and can operate for circa 40% – 50% of the cost of a fossil fuel boiler. Heat pumps operate most efficiently in moderate Climates (like Ireland). Heatpumps are effectively refridgerators or air-conditioning systems in reverse and have been manufactured for over 6 decades.

Suitable for both newbuild and replacement applications on heating systems, the  Viessmann Vitodens boilers combine great performance with easy installation and maintenance. All Viessmann “System boilers” come in 4 pipe configuration as standard, to provide the most efficient heating available.

We are approved installers for Viessmann Boilers and we would highly recommend this boiler manufacturer.  On selected models we can offer an extended 5 year Parts and labour warranty and a 10 year warranty on the Stainless Steel Heat Exchanger when we install your new boiler.  With our years of experience we are able to advise you on the best boiler for your system and needs.

                      

 

Emergency Service

If you find yourself on a Sunday evening with no hot water or up to your ankles in cold water please do not hesitate to call us at WM Black & Sons and we will be ready to help you.  Our boiler service men will also be available to deal with boiler breakdowns and faulty heating systems.  We carry out boiler repairs and replacements in residential, commercial and industrial properties.
